It's what I like to call my "see what's in the fridge that I can throw in a pan with something tomato-ey and serve on rice, pasta or noodles.
At the end of a long day (an with Thing 2 awake with a cold and in out bed at 4-something this morning it's been a LONG day!) I like nothing more than dry heating some cumin powder, coriander seed and throwing everything into the pan.
I take care to make sure I only include stuff I like and, as Mrs Neaves ha super-sensitive taste buds compared to my deadened ones, it's as bland as I can bare.
Of course the jalapeños are added to mine just prior to serving - so I can feel chilli when it's chilly... Or when it's sweltering like tonight and I just want some comfort food.
Look out taste buds!
