A beautiful day today rapidly went down hill as we boarded the train to Gunwharf Quays this afternoon. The black clouds rolled in and the further from Chichester we got, the blacker the skies.
Yes, second day of the summer holidays (for me - before those avid fans (fan!) of the blog holler that they've been on holiday for ages) and the rain is coming down.
To be honest, the air is a lot clearer now it's passed, and the evening a little cooler.
And the weather is due to improve again - for a little longer.
It WAS nice as I jogged from Chichester towards Bognor this morning. In fact, it was very nice. Too nice. A spot of rain would have been most pleasant.
Such is life.
Today's question: when have you ever wished for rain on a fine summer's day?
