At 8:20 this morning, I sat down with a nurse and confirmed that I was who I claimed to be, was not wearing metal and had not got a metal plate in my head.
I was then fed, feet first, into an MRI machine so that they could scan my sore left knee in an effort to diagnose why I am in discomfort.
The experience was okay. I did not have my head in, which I'm sure would scare a lot of people, and I had the sounds of local radio to try (and fail to) drown out the clanging and banging noises.
The staff were great and, after a very late night, I nearly dozed off!
Now to wait for the results...
Today's question: given the choice, what would you have asked to listen to?
